Thursday. The GC (new name coming soon) and I are basking in our post-delivery glow. Kemper is back in our room from the nursery. Ahhhh the nursery.... I wish we could go back...
Then there's a knock on the door. Hmmm. Who could it be? Usually the nurses just barge on in.
"Come in..."
The door opens, and we see a vase of nice yellow roses.
"Awww... someone sent us flowers."
Then the delivery man walks in. Hmmm. He looks familiar. Wait a minute, we know that delivery guy!
Charmaine's dad was standing in our room.
Wow
Seems that he flew in last night, when the first email went out, before the information black out. Then stayed the night in hotel. All for the BY.
Wow... an amazing gesture.
So we spent the rest of the afternoon with Paw Paw, chatting, holding Kemper, and enjoying the day. I took him to the airport later that evening to go home.
What a great day for the BY!
