The Debriefing

Well, the weekend is over. No kids were harmed in the making this weekend. No dog was harmed in the making of this weekend. The Editor was not harmed in the making of this weekend. It wasn't a monumental weekend in terms of fun. It was just weekend of survival.

But I did learn some things about myself and my kids.

These kids are hilarious. They love each other and each other the same time. At one moment Mila is hugging Court the next they are down and out wrestling.

I thought court would be a pushover/wussy boy. But I have seen him turn from Jolly oh into murderous tiger. The look of hatred and bloodlust in his eyes when he turns to swing at Mila is impressive and scary at the same time.

Mila is the loudest baby I've ever heard in my life. She will scream at the top of her lungs and when you think she's lost a arm, she has just dropped her sock.

Kemper is cute and great and smart. Unfortunately, she has absolutely no coordination I can trip over her own 2 feet. She is a super sweet goofball.

This signing time stuff actually does work.

Unfortunately, we watch it at three hours a day I think a total of 20 hours this weekend.

Thank God for Benadryl. Whoever develop the children's formula should be owed a gajillion dollars

Court actually walked good chunk of this weekend, up to about 10 steps maximum. It's only a matter of time.

I really think Mila is Charmaine's child. Yesterday she peed on the floor, and then when she realized what she did, went and grabbed a towel and came back and wiped it up.

It is crazy. At one moment you are about to rip our your hair and then at that time one of them does something super cute. Example: I'm holding Court who is screaming and then I feel little fingers on my toes. I look down to see that Mila has grabbed my sandal from across the room and came to try to put it on my foot.

She was actually fascinated by my sandals. I kept throwing around the room and she would go retrieve them and try to put them on my feet.

There was a lot of screaming this weekend. By every living thing in this house.

Court is very in touch with his emotion. He is cute and cuddly and a large hugger. He also is scared very easily and cries of the drop of a hat.

Somehow my sanity is still intact. Hopefully my blogging instincts will return.
